Help is at hand, through Blaenau Gwent Assisted Places Scheme.


Assisted Places are offered to children to enable them to be able to attend their local childcare setting alongside their peers. Up to two funded part-time places are offered per week to a qualifying child whose family can demonstrate need.  Supporting evidence will need to be

supplied and you should consider the following:-

* Evidence of low income or benefit receipt must be supplied (total family income under £21,000 per annum)
* Child aged between 0-10 years
* No funding from other sources
* Social isolation
* Family circumstances.

Applications can be taken from Parents, Health Visitors, Social Workers or other groups. All applications must be made on the appropriate form which is available from your registered Childcare Setting or The Family Information Service.
