The Incredible Years is a parenting programme designed to prevent, reduce and treat behavioural problems in children aged 2 to 10 years and to increase their social skills.

Th IIncredible Years is a 12 week programme where a different topic is discussed as a group each week. the topics are:

  • Play - Promoting your child's self esteem
  • Praise & Rewards
  • Promoting your child's thinking skills
  • Bringing out the best in your child
  • Motivating tour children
  • Effective limit setting
  • Decreasing annoying behaviours
  • Handling misbehaviour
  • Time-out & consequences
  • Putting it all together

The programme helps to strengthen relationships within the family home & increase communication skills between parents/carers and their children
