Anti-Social Behaviour

'Anti-Social Behaviour' means you're either harassing someone else or causing them alarm or distress. When we talk about young people with an anti-social behaviour, it means things like getting drunk, fighting in the streets, threatening someone, using abusive language, vandalising property or shop-lifting (stealing from a shop)

Some young people blame being bored or being pressured into doing it (peer pressure). If you have ever been anti-social would you prefer £160,000 to be spent on repairing any damage you've caused, or spent on a skate park or something for young people?

If your behaviour is anti-social, you could end up with an anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) from the police.

The Government wants young people to grow up to be good, happy citizens which means respecting people and things around them.
