The Heart of the Valleys Children's Centre based at the former Blaina Infant School offers:

- Registered English and Welsh playgroup provision
- Parent and Toddler groups
- Toy Library
- Language and Play sessions
- Holiday Club
- Staffed Play Provision
- Support for Parents
- Antenatal groups
- Breast-feeding Support and Baby Clubs.

There is also a training suite offering training and development courses.

Dragons Den

The Dragons’ Den Community Vehicle provides an outreach service of the Integrated Children’s Centre based in Blaina and will enable families, children and young people to access services, which may not otherwise be possible.

Light & Sensory

The light and sensory room based at the ICC in Blaina is a fully interactive room with music and sound, visual effect lighting and soft play facilities. it also has disabled hoists for weelchair access.
