Bowls
Bowls is an enjoyable sport for any age group.
There are many clubs throughout Blaenau Gwent playing in various leagues and cup competitions not only against those based in Blaenau Gwent but also against teams from Caerphilly, Torfaen and Gwent.
Organisations include the MBA (Monmouthsire Bowling Association), GBL (Gwent Bowling League) and the WML (West Mon League)
Outdoor season goes from April to September, each club will also have their internal competitions throughout the season making it a real sociable event.
The club would welcome new players of any age, any experience, male or female especially younger players, so if schools or anyone is interested in trying out the game of bowls, it doesn't matter if you have not payed before
