The Music Centre is run by the Gwent Music Support Service on behalf of Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. It is free to access weekly ensembles for instrumentalists and singers. Rehearsal times are 10am – 12pm on Saturdays at Abertillery Comprehensive School. For further information contact Gwent Music Support Service on 01633 414800.

Welcome to the Gwent Music Support Service. We are a local authority music service, organised by Newport City Council in collaboration with Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire and Torfaen local education authorities.
We provide instrumental music tuition to over 9,000 students across 200 schools in South East Wales, UK. We also organise a wide range of music activities for children and young people.
