What you need first:

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT):

CBT is a course of compulsory basic training which all learner motorcycle and moped riders must complete before riding on the road.

Theory / Hazard Perception:

The same as a car you'll need to pass before you can move on to a full licence

125cc / Standard bike test:

Provides you with a “smaller” Bike / restricted license. Allows you to ride up to a 125cc bike for 2 years before you progress onto bigger bikes

Direct Access Scheme (DAS)

If you're over the age of 21 the the direct acces scheme will allow you to ride any size bike
