The top scorers will be eligable for a prize. And yes they do drive a car. Each competitor will spend about 20 minutes behind the wheel of a new Corsa, (provided by Vauxhall and Welch of Newport). The cars are all dual controlled and the youngsters will be supervised by a fully qualified instructor.

Brake

Brake is a registered charity. We have two aims:

Stopping the carnage and the emissions
The worldwide carnage of people being killed and maimed on roads must stop. The high levels of carbon dioxide emissions caused by road vehicles, that is contributing to the destruction of our planet and polluting our communities, must be tackled.

Caring for the victims
People whose lives have been devastated by the death of a loved one or a serious injury in the family following a road crash or other similar sudden disaster must be given the chance to recover through good levels of emotional support and practical help. It is common for victims of road crashes to be the forgotten victims, with very little help provided for them by governments.
