Brynmawr Youth Club
Brynmawr Foundation School Youth Club
Run in partnership with children’s charity Rathbone Cymru, Brynmawr School Youth Club is just one of the school’s community and youth engagement initiatives.
It is the most popular youth club in the area, regularly attracting between 40 and 80 local youngsters on a Friday night. The aim of the Youth Club is to provide young people with a viable alternative to hanging out on the streets, somewhere safe and interesting to hang out with friends and meet new people.
The Youth Club offers youngsters a wide variety of activities, with something different on offer every week as well as some popular regular features.
The Youth Club is free and open to all youngsters aged between 11 and 16. It runs every Friday night during term time between the hours of 5pm and 6.30pm. There are plans to expand the opening times, so look out for updates. Contact Nicola Jones or Karen McHallam at the school for further details.
