BLAENAU GWENT YOUTH TWINNING ASSOCIATION
Blaenau Gwent Youth Twinning Association’s mission is to ensure that each year at least twelve young people and young leaders in Blaenau Gwent have an opportunity to attend an International Youth Camp.
Blaenau Gwent host the camp every five years, and have recently hosted a home camp at Ebbw Vale Comprehensive School this summer.

The motto of the Association is “No World Without Friendship”. In 2010 the camp will be in Pomaz in Hungary and some young people aged between 13 to 17 years of age will be able to fundraise , and participate in the camp, which will be held some time in the school summer holidays, for eight days.
Young people attend the International Youth Camps from Remanzacco in Italy, Oberhausen Rheinhausen in Germany (the Council’s official twinning partner) and Pomaz in Hungary.
