Since 2000 Working Links has worked in some of the most deprived areas of Great Britain to address the challenges faced by long-term unemployed people. And we’ve helped over 130,000 people to change their lives by supporting them into sustainable employment.

We are a public, private, voluntary company bringing together private sector drive, public sector ethos and voluntary sector ethics.

Our public sector share is managed by the government’s Shareholder Executive on behalf of the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. Our private sector shareholders are Manpower and Capgemini, and our voluntary sector share is owned by Mission Australia.

Since 2006, our turnover has grown from £63m to £85m, and we now employ almost 2,000 people.

We’re now working with local Learning and Skills Councils to deliver a number of skills contracts, as well as winning contracts in early 2009 to support offenders in prisons with vocational training, helping to break the offending cycle.

We’re also looking to provide enhanced services for young people not in employment, education or training, further strengthening our work dedicated to helping families and communities.
