When you worry a lot about things and feel unable to cope, it’s often described as feeling stressed or stressed out. Feeling under pressure from time to time is normal but if it doesn’t pass it can lead to stress.

Lots of different pressures can combine together such as school and homework, worries about friendships, being bullied, being pressurised into doing something you don’t want to do or feel uncomfortable about, family problems or too much responsibility.

People cope with stress in different ways. It is important to notice when you are beginning to feel unwell, anxious and unable to cope with life. There are active steps, which you can take to deal with life’s pressures or reduce the bad feelings if they start to occur.
