Blaenau Gwent Whales

They are a community based Swimming Club run by members for members and cater for people with disabilities,
family and friends are also welcome.
They meet every Friday at Nantyglo Sports Centre between 6.30pm and 7.30 pm.

Swimming is an excellent form of exercise and water activities are of particular benefit to people with disabilities.   
Water therapy aids movement, builds strength and is great fun!  
Help is provided to get people in and out of the pool
(a hoist and specially adapted steps which extend into the water are available at the centre).

Membership
To the club is free.
They are a voluntary run club and depend entirely upon swimming fees donations
and fund raising activities to enable them to provide swimming and water activities to all who attend.

Swimming Fees
Fees are £2.00 per session.
All children under the age of 2 are free of charge.

The club is affiliated to Halliwick Association of swimming Therapy
