The Heart of the Valleys Children's Centre based at the former Blaina Infant School offers:

- Language and Play sessions
- Holiday Club
- Staffed Play Provision
- Support for Parents
- Antenatal groups
- Breast-feeding Support and Baby Clubs.

There is also a training suite offering training and development courses.

Dragons Den

The Dragons’ Den Community Vehicle provides an outreach service of the Integrated Children’s Centre based in Blaina and will enable families, children and young people to access services, which may not otherwise be possible

Blaenau Gwent’s Play Library and Bibliotherapy is an extensive resource of equipment available for the community to stimulate play and increase parenting skills.
